Glenn Greeson is a native of Henegar DeKalb County Alabama and enlisted in the army October 1967 he attended basic training at Fort Benning GA and AIT at Fort Sam Houston TX for combat medic training 91A-10

 After two tours in Vietnam as a combat medic he continued his education at Fort Gordon GA. in a yearlong clinical specialist school 91C-40. Staff Sergeant Greeson spent time at Fort Gordon GA, Fort Bragg NC, and at Fitzsimmons Army Medical center in Denver Colorado.

 After his discharge from active-duty July 1977, he spent several years in the National Guard in Fort Payne AL.
